We chose Absoft as our support partner because we were extremely impressed by their proposal and quality of the support package. We then decided to extend our contract from three to five years because we knew that Absoft would continue to work well as an extension to our internal team.

Knowing who to call upon is an important factor for us and Absoft ensures our internal team know exactly who they are calling for advice at any time. They have gone the extra mile to build relationships with our in-house SAP team and have a thorough understanding of our support requirements and it is this proactive approach which led us to extend our contract.

The Absoft consultant didn’t just resolve the issue – which was difficult - and leave it there. He also contacted relevant people in the organisation and told them what was happening, what to do, and how to do it. It was just wonderful to have someone offering proactive help.

From a support and customer service perspective, Absoft cannot be faulted; they instantly “get” what we’re looking for and the quality of support is excellent. As far as we are concerned, when we contact Absoft, we are made to feel that we are their priority and that, in itself, is the mark of superlative customer service.

Over the course of our partnership with Absoft in the delivery of SAP technical support we have developed a co-operation that is like having an extension to our own internal team. The fluid communications between their team of consultants and ourselves has effectively meant they have become more like colleagues and that relationship has enabled us to deliver first class business support services for our SAP systems.

Absoft provides the University with so much more than simple technical support. In addition to those “bread and butter” items, the Absoft team is always looking for ways to continuously improve the functionality of our system and make our reporting requirements accessible. The team also provides us with training, as and when it is required, which helps us take control of issues internally.

Provision of consistent consultants is a key area of strength in the service we receive from Absoft. The consultants really know our business and we feel the service is akin to having remote Northern Rail employees working with us on our SAP system.
