A US-based food processor and one of the world's leading producers and processors of frozen potato, sweet potato, and other vegetable products, our client has been an industry leader for more than 60 years, consistently churning out innovative products for their customers.

Business Challenge 

The client was undertaking a digital transformation by migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.  Their data quality issues were creating bottlenecks in their supply chain, customer relationship management, finance and other business processes, and were hindering their migration to S/4HANA, and they wanted to proactively establish a robust data management process with clean, reliable and accurate data that would also enable better analytics and decision making.

To ensure a seamless digital transformation and address the data quality issues, the client chose Applexus as their partner to conduct a data assessment and readiness project.

Partnering with Applexus

Applexus led the effort to analyze the client’s legacy and SAP S/4HANA master data using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and Business Objects Information Steward (BOIS). This approach leveraged the robust functionality of SAP data fabric solutions and Applexus’ pre-built data quality reports and scorecards to provide a data readiness framework that supported their global transformation program. In addition, identified S/4HANA production data issues were also assessed and resolved.

Applexus’ data management expertise, combined with deep SAP functional and technical knowledge in consumer products, helped to complete a comprehensive data cleansing to provide complete, accurate and business ready data.
