The Business Challenge

The client needed to stabilize and integrate their SAP implementation to ensure seamless business operations across Europe. Key challenges included the need for focus planning tools to assess production and sales costs, and integration between SAP R/3 and legacy systems used in various subsidiaries to eliminate manual processes and prevent data inconsistencies.

How We Helped

Applexus enhanced the client’s system to perform stock availability checks during outbound delivery. Enhancements enabled the automated transfer of vendor consignment stock to owned stock based on delivery orders. We developed a workflow for internal approvals and built an EDI solution for vendor communications. Custom interfaces were designed and developed to connect legacy systems with SAP, ensuring business data could be consistently captured in SAP. We also implemented a Unicode-compatible SAP system to support operations across multiple geographies, backed by a robust application maintenance and support framework.
